Cartadis terminals are compatible with all copiers / MFP equipped with a catch.

Does the terminal Cartadis manage different formats of copies ?

The terminals have Cartadis inputs required for the management of 4 formats. It must, however, that the copier provides the necessary information formats (user A4, A3, B & W, Color).

On terminals Cartadis magnetic card, what are the characteristics of the cards used ?

Gespage is compatible with Cartadis cards devices whatsoever. It's just necessary to connect payment terminals with the desired technology: Magnetic (TC4N, TCRS), MIFARE Cards (Copicode IP TCM2, TCP2) Smart Cards (TC20, TCP2) MONEO Cards (TC20)

What hardware is recommended to use the server Gespage ?

The strength of the material impacts the server's ability to provide prints quickly. However, for simple environments, a desktop PC with an Intel, AMD or VIA is enough. CPU> 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive.

Can Gespage work behind a firewall, and is it mandatory ?

Gespage can safely operate behind a firewall. Experience shows that the Gespage firewall is effective protection.

Can we use our LDAP / Active Directory to manage user accounts Gespage ?

Gespage manages the automatic synchronization of accounts and groups from Active Directory and other LDAP databases. It is also possible to add users not listed in LDAP.

What types of printers supported by Gespage?

Gespage is compatible with most printers on the market that use PCL5, PCL6 and Postscript, TCP / IP and Jet Direct.

What are the OS supported by Gespage?

Gespage supports all operating systems that can print via samba or LPR / LPD, including Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X, Linux Redhat, Fedora, Debian, Knoppix, Suse, and Solaris. Gespage also supports customers such as Linux, Citrix, Windows since 95.

What does follow me?

The Follow Me is a feature that allows a user to leave his impression on the machine he chose at the last moment, as it is connected to the network. The print will remain on the server until the user has selected the printer of choice, allowing him not to wait until the previous user completes his impressions.

What does it mean to feel secure?

Secure printing means that the document is not stored in the printer visible to the public but must be printed by the user, once identified as he is at the printer. So nobody can print his paper in its place, or visit his title in the queue.

Can I recharge an account Gespage by credit card?

Yes, thanks to the additional module WebCB, you can recharge your account Gespage paying by credit card directly on a dedicated and secured Web site.

Can I print from the web to Gespage?

Yes, thanks to the add-Cloud Printing: You download the document via the dedicated website, and you recover when you want your document to the printer of your choice.
